Description
Farmendon a beautiful home ideal for family holidays or romantic break. Guests love the views from the kitchen, dining room overlooking the enclosed south-facing garden, towards the mountains facing especially enjoy watching the birds feeding on the terrace (look at the woodpecker). The Chorpy ring within walking distance of the house.
The living room is spacious, comfortable (enjoy a good book in the rocking chair), central heating, electric fire in the cool evenings, basic Sky tv, dvd, video player and a comprehensive collection of dvds/videos (and a lot of the book, which is in the closet in the single bedroom, as well as board games).
The kitchen is very well equipped with the all modern conveniences, including a full size dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in the outhouse in the courtyard (there is also a rotary cloth for drying clothes).
There is a separate, spacious dining area, good views of the garden, the hills, beautiful collection of Willow pattern plates.
Bedroom spacious, with antique furniture, beautiful bed linen. The bedroom opens to the garden, nice view, past the chapel of the nearby mountains, and a superking zip link bed which can be made into two separate beds if necessary (note, it's usually set up as a superking, so you need to request twin beds when you book). The second bedroom, it looks like the village has a double bed. The third bedroom, a single and an extra single mattress on the floor (also required when you book).
The private, south-facing garden is perfect for kids, dogs, a covered terrace where parents can sit in the sun with a glass of wine, I keep my eyes open!
Parking for one car to the side of the house (plenty of free public parking nearby for more cars), as well as a tea room/bistro, coffee shop and the local pub is just yards away. Many walks directly to the door.
