Low Rigg attractive, cosy house in the popular village of muke is, the cosy pub, the Farmers Arms, muke the Village Shop, Tea house, Old School Craftshop Gallery and Swaledale Wool. This is a perfect place to visit today on sounds.
The house sleeps up to 6, has three bedrooms, two very spacious double bedroom overlooking the village, the third double bedroom overlooking the large, enclosed, private rear garden. Family bathroom upstairs, bath, separate (electric) shower, TOILET basin.
On the ground floor, the entrance door leads to a small room, which in turn leads to the dining room, the table comfortably seating 6, logburner (starter pack of logs included), as well as piano, to the guests, musically inclined!
In the living room there is an old clock, antique linen press ercole furniture, a cosy fireplace (sadly not working). The house is heated by electric storage heating stoves, which heat up overnight, and an electric coal effect fire in the living room.
The kitchen, while small, is very well equipped, fridge/freezer (small freezer), thin dishwasher, kitchen table, chairs. The back door leads out to a beautiful rear garden, fully enclosed, a vacation in the hot summer days, and plenty of space for children to run the thing.
A dog is very welcome (we do not charge extra for the dog), and free wifi. The Farmers Arms is literally stumbling distance down a snicket to the cottage (a great place, the locals!) but the dog, muddy boot-friendly.
Low Rigg in an ideal location, upper Swaledale, the most northerly of the Yorkshire Dales, the Yorkshire Dales National Park surrounded by stunning scenery, perfect walk from your doorstep.
